NORTH QUINCY, DORCHESTER, MA, ISSUED NOVEMBER 7, 2005…. Amity Insurance Agency, Inc., a leading national full service agency specializing in the insurance needs of the legal community, commercial/habitational real estate owners, charter schools and the hospitality industry has opened an office in Dorchester, following the acquisition of the former Aztec Insurance Agency.
Located at 5 Blue Hill Avenue, the Dorchester office will primarily serve the Hispanic community, offering both personal and commercial lines of insurance.
Denziel Westby, the former co-owner of Aztec Insurance has been named Branch Manager of Amity’s Dorchester office. In addition, a number of customer service representatives employed by Aztec Insurance will remain at the 1,000 square foot Dorchester office, providing service to current and future clients.
Aztec Insurance Agency was founded in 1976 by Westby’s mother, Winnifred McKesey.
“We’re pleased to be a part of the Amity Insurance family,” said Westby. “My mother recently retired from the industry, but the work she began in this community will not only continue, but expand now.”
